Masha Allah, the Arabic word 'Hadith' and 'Sunnah is found throughout the Arabic Qur'an by NAME. There is no Mystery after all.

By Kidr

This is what the Muslims who believe in Hadith and Sunnah believes:

In Islam, the Arabic word sunnah has come to denote the way Prophet Muhammad (saas), the Messenger of Allah, lived his life. The Sunnah is the second source of Islamic jurisprudence, the first being the Qur'an. Both sources are indispensable; one cannot practice Islam without consulting both of them. The Arabic word hadith (pl. ahadith) is very similar to Sunnah, but not identical.

A hadith is a narration about the life of the Prophet (saas) or what he approved - as opposed to his life itself, which is the Sunnah as already mentioned.

Isn't it amazing how the Muslims who follow Hadith and Sunnah forget that Allah mentions in the Qur'an in Arabic 'Sunnah' and 'Hadith' and yet both Arabic words by NAME has nothing to do with the Prophet Muhammad.

SUNNAH n.f. (pl. sunan) -institution, customary action...

In the Qur'an we are given

Surah 3:137 "Many were سُنَنٌ 'sunanun' (the Ways of Life) that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth."

Surah 4:26 "Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the سُنَنَ 'sunana' (to) ways) of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise."

Surah 8:38 "Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, سُنَّةُ 'sunnatu' (the) practice) of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them)."

Surah 15:13 "That they should not believe in the (Message); but سُنَّةُ 'sunnatu' (the way(s) of the ancients have passed away."

Surah 17:77 "سُنَّةَ 'sunnata' (Such is Our Way) with the apostles We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change لِسُنَّتِنَا 'lisunnatinā' (in Our ways.)"

Surah 18:55 "And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) سُنَّةُ 'sunnatu' (the ways) of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?"

Surah 33:38 "There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ ' 'sunnata' l-lahi' Sunnah of Allah That is the way (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree determined."

Surah 33:62 " سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ 'sunnata' l-lahi (Such is the) Way of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find 'lisunnati' 'l-lahi' (in the Way) of Allah."

Surah 35:43 "On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for سُنَّتَ 'sunnata' (the way) of the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ 'lisunnati' l-lahi (in the way) (of) Allah of dealing: no turning off wilt thou find لِسُنَّتِاللَّهِ 'lisunnati Allahi' in Allah's way (of dealing)."

Surah 40:85 "But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them.'sunnata' 'l-lahi' (Such is the Way) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)!"

Surah 48:23 "سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ Sunnata Allahi (Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah already in the past: no change wilt thou find in لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ 'lisunnati' 'Allahi' the practice (approved) of Allah. "

Where is this 'Sunnatu Rasoolillah which means 'Sunnah of Muhammad' that the Sunnis are referring to?

For the sincere Muslims who are seeking truth, Pure Islaam, these Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims are not telling us that the Arabic word “Sunnah” is right inside the Qur’aan just like how they concealed the fact “Hadith” is in the Qur’aan because if they made this known it would expose the falsehood of their Sunni and Shi’ite schools of thought which teaches us that Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, just to name a few, compiled books called hadith which is the sunnah of Muhammad.

In Surah At-Tur, the unbelievers are challenged:

"Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. Then let them bring a بِحَدِيثٍ ‘Hadith’ similar to it if they are truthful." (52:33-34)

The unbelievers are challenged to produce a بِحَدِيثٍ ‘Hadith’ or speech similar to the Qur’an, thus the divine challenge in the words:

Furthermore the Qur’an has itself been identified as the , i.e. Nataq-un-Nabi" (Speech of Nabi) which means saying of the messenger reference Surah 69:40

إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ

Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareemin

"That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle;"

Also among one of the Qur'an's attributes is Ahsan-ul-Hadith, i.e. the Best Speech, or 'Hadith' in Arabic.

"Allah has revealed the best الْحَدِيثِ ‘Hadith’ (speech) , a book conformable in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their Sustainer, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah; this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom Allah leaves to err, there is no guide for him." (39:23)

Furthermore the Qur’an informs us that it contains the ‘Hadith’ of the messengers of Allah reference Surah 20:9

"Has the حَدِيثُ story of Moses reached thee?"

And

Surah 51:24

"Has the حَدِيثُ story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham?"

And

Surah 79:15

"Has the حَدِيثُ story of Moses reached thee?"

So it's clear that it is none else but the Book of Allah itself which is the actual ‘Hadith’ given to the Prophet Muhammad which is the Best Hadith.

"Then maybe you will kill yourself with grief, sorrowing after them, if they do not believe in this الْحَدِيثِ 'Hadith'." (18:6)

"This is a warner of the warners of old. The near event draws nigh. There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. Do you then wonder at this الْحَدِيثِ Hadith?" (53:56-59)

"But nay! I bring as evidence the location of stars; And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; Most surely it is an honored Quran, In a book that is protected. None shall have access to it (its meaning) save those who have purified themselves (from wrong concepts and ideologies). A revelation by the Sustainer of the worlds. Do you then hold thisالْحَدِيثِ ‘Hadith’ in contempt? And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence." (56:75-82)

"So leave Me and him who rejects this الْحَدِيثِ Hadith; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not." (68:44)

While identifying His own Book as the ‘Hadith’ of the messenger, Allah also warns us not to accept any other
------> ‘Hadith’ other than His very own Book, which is the ‘Ahsan-ul-Hadith’, i.e. the Best Hadith.

"In which حَدِيثٍ Hadith, then, after it, will they believe?" (77:50)

"Do they not consider the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever things Allah has created, and that may be their doom shall have drawn nigh; In which حَدِيثٍ Hadith would they then believe in after this?" (7:185)

"And who is more true in giving حَدِيثًا Hadith than Allah?" (4:87)

"These are the Ayat of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in which حَدِيثٍ Hadith would they believe after Allah and His Ayat? Woe to every sinful liar, Who hears the Ayat of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment. And when he comes to know of any of Our Ayat, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement." (45:6-9)

"In their (all the messengers mentioned in the Quran) narratives there is certainly a lesson for people of understanding. It is not a حَدِيثًا 'Hadith' which could be forged, but a verification of what is before it and a distinct explanation of all things and a guide and a mercy to a people who believe." (12:111)

It's clear the above verse states that the Qur’an is not a forged ‘Hadith’ or speech, thus confirming the existence of‘Hadith’ which will be fabricated but will be deceptively attributed to the messengers of Allah such as Hadith of Sahih Bukhari and company.

"And of men is he who purchases vain الْحَدِيثِ 'Hadith' to lead astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement. And when Our Ayat (verses) are recited to him, he turns back proudly, as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were a heaviness, therefore announce to him a painful chastisement." (31:6-7)

"Lahwal Hadith" i.e. futile speech for the sole purpose of misleading others from the path of Allah. If you are following other Hadith other than the Best Hadith, Al Qur'an Allah has questioned the people as to which ‘Hadith’ they will accept after His Book, and has also identified Satanic people who will invent false sayings but present it with guile as divine truths. We should hold fast to the Book of Allah and be aware of such deceptive elements.

Unfortunately, this is why the so-called sheiks, religious leaders, imams, ulama, NEVER point this out to their followers within the plethora of their sects and schools of thought that they created in Islam because they (sheiks, religious leaders, imams, ulama) who are concealers of the truth (kafiruwn) do not want the falsehood of their sect and their sectarian teachings in Islaam to be exposed. So they keep us in darkness and do not teach us Arabic so that we can see that“hadith” and “sunnah” are in fact in the Qur’an and has nothing to do with the ahadiyth books written by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI, MUSLIM, just to name a few hadith compilers.

I explain to the Muslims who follow Hadith all the time that Hadith and Sunnah in Arabic is inside the Qur'an by NAME and I ask them can they prove in the Qur’an where Allah says that either “hadith” or “sunnah” is a revelation He (Allah) revealed or sent down to the Prophet Muhammad then they will have an valid argument and then we Muslims calling to Qur'an alone will have to seal our mouth shut and submit to that truth but the facts are they have not produced such verses and they cannot because they don’t exist in the Qur’aan. Remember Allah has went out of His way and used the Arabic words “hadith” and “sunnah” right inside the Qur’an, so there should not be a problem for them to produce one out of many ayas telling us to believe in “hadith” or “sunnah” of those books compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI, MUSLIM and company.

THIS IS A CHALLENGE TO THEM!!!! Allah makes it crystal clear as to which revelation the Prophet Muhammad received and it was not those hadith and sunnah books compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI, MUSLIM etc. IT WAS ONLY THE QUR’AN ALONE which his the only Hadith given to the Prophet Muhammad.

Here is the history a bit:

In M. M. Azami's Studies in Hadith Methodology and Literature, the following precise definition of a hadith is given,

According to Muhaddithiin [scholars of hadith -ed.] it stands for 'what was transmitted on the authority of the Prophet, his deeds, sayings, tacit approval, or description of his sifaat (features) meaning his physical appearance. However, physical appearance of the Prophet is not included in the definition used by the jurists.'

Thus hadith literature means the literature which consists of the narrations of the life of the Prophet and the things approved by him. However, the term was used sometimes in much broader sense to cover the narrations about the Companions [of the Prophet -ed.] and Successors [to the Companions -ed.] as well.

The explosion of Islam in the 7th and 8th centuries confronted Islamic scholars with a daunting task: to preserve the knowledge of the Sunnah of the Prophet (saas). Hence the science of hadith evaluation was born.

The rules for hadith science were not developed until the early -------> 11th century  HUGE GAP by Al-Hakim (d.1014) who developed 52 categories, and then Ibn al-Salah (d.1245) who developed 65 categories. Until this day there are thousands of contradicting Hadith among the Sunnis and Shites.
